There are two things that Carla truly enjoys: helping people and figuring things out. Pair that with an aptitude for math, and you have met our team’s tax professional! Carla has 30 years of experience in the tax industry and also works to stay on top of current tax issues through continued education and research. She wants to be a conscientious tax advisor who cares about clients and their tax and accounting needs.
In her CPA role at FYRA, Carla manages tax and accounting services for individual and business clients, reviews and prepares tax returns, and provides tax consulting and research. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where she studied accounting, and she became a certified public accountant in 1984.
Carla lives in Wildwood and is married to her husband of 40 years, Joe. Together they’ve raised four children and now have six grandkids to keep up with, in addition to two pets, a golden retriever named Goldy and a border collie/rat terrier mix named Leo.
When she’s away from the office, Carla devotes her time to family and grandkids with visits and vacations. She also enjoys puzzles, home improvement projects, reading and good conversation with a glass of cabernet. Her family is actively involved in community outreach and church activities.
